Functional Foods List
Functional foods are foods and food components that provide health benefits beyond basic nutrition. Functional foods do more than just provide nutrients – they may play a role in reducing your risk of disease or in improving your health. Also, they give you the energy and power you need to succeed at Jungle Fitness These foods include health-promoting ingredients or natural components found in conventional, fortified, enriched or enhanced foods. There are many potential health benefits of consuming functional foods. Nutritional research has shown that eating functional foods on a regular basis, as part of a balanced and varied diet, can enhance health and reduce the risk of many acute and chronic diseases.
Jungle Fitness training is strenuous and rigorous. If you plan on joining our program and not committing to eating healthy, you will soon find out that this program isn’t for you. You might need to visit the casket program at you local cemetery. We need to take control of our lives.
Functional foods can be found in your grocery store and you may even have some of them in your refrigerator and pantry! Remember that to reap the benefits of functional foods they need to be consumed in appropriate amounts. Our functional foods list below lists some functional foods.
In life, we don’t have control of many things like natural disasters and accidents, to name a few. But we do control what we eat. Have pride in yourself and do not let others dictate what you eat. The time is now; not next week, not the new year, not the summer…NOW. If not, you might not make it to the new year or summer. GET FIT OR DIE TRYING!

Jungle Fitness routinely participates and sponsors fitness events throughout the South Florida community. The jungFIT family often runs 5K, 10K, half marathon, full marathon, triathlon, ultra-marathon and a host of other fitness events as a group, motivating each other and pushing our limits.
