How long do the Boot Camp sessions last?
The sessions last anywhere from 75- 100 minutes on weekdays and approximately 120 minutes on weekends.
 
Why do the Boot Camp sessions last so long?
We focus on training the mind as well as the body, and on occasion, this takes more time. In addition, our training group regularly trains for long distance endurance events and this takes several long hours to adapt to this rigorous training.
 
The Miami Herald, in a November 2008 cover story on Jungle Fitness, stated that the Boot Camp sessions were so intense, that the class was designed for people who regularly exercise. Is this true?
To a point. Even though we have many novice Jungle Fitness members, the classes are rigorous and people, especially the weak minded, tend to find excuses not to come back. Others make the sacrifice and adapt to our motto of “GET FIT OR DIE TRYING!” we have an extremely supportive family atmosphere during our sessions.
 
Do you scream at people during class?
We do not scream or belittle anyone in class. The setting is motivational and only positive encouragement is shown.
 
Will I be sore?
Probably so, especially after the first several sessions. Our training is designed to build immunity to certain exercises and we often do many, many, many repetitions to conquer the routine.
 
Are classes the same or do they vary?
Every class is different. This involves tedious planning on our end and the work product benefits. Members will tell you that the constant variety is what seems to be addictive, along with the people you meet.
 
Is there a lot of running, or is it mostly weight training?
Both. We run and incorporate weight training exercises using both fitness equipment and our own body weight. You can expect anything in our sessions.
 
What differentiates Jungle Fitness from other fitness programs?
The simple fact that we lead by example. We practice what we preach. We truly dedicate our lives to our Jungle Fitness family. When you train with us, you get more than what you pay for.
